
In the context of the 2016 Computers, Privacy and Data Protection Conference, VUB’s Brussels Privacy Hub is organising the event ‘Privacy in the EU and US: A debate between Max Schrems and Peter Swire‘. Swire is Lawrence P. Huang Professor of Law and Ethics at the Georgia institute of Technology; Schrems is the privacy activist behind Europe v Facebook. The debate will take place on 26 January 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the EU, in Brussels.
