The first workshop will place in Warsaw, Poland on 24 September 2013, from 14:00 till 17:00, and will be organized as a side event to the 35th International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners (ICDPPC), hosted by GIODO and that will take place from 23 to 26 September 2013. The first workshop will be devoted to discussing the challenges and barriers for international cooperation and coordination between DPAs. The invited speakers will discuss, among others, the impact of the data protection reform on the cooperation between DPAs, the role of Convention 108 in international cooperation, the challenges for cooperation with non-European privacy enforcement authorities (PEAs) and cooperation beyond DPAs.
